MentorSphere.Africa values creativity and innovation. This Intellectual Property Policy outlines the ownership, use, and protection of content within our mentorship program to ensure that all materials and contributions are respected and appropriately utilised.

1. Ownership of Content

1. Platform Materials:

   • All content provided by MentorSphere.Africa, including text, graphics, logos, designs, and downloadable resources, is the exclusive property of MentorSphere.Africa and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

   • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of platform materials is prohibited.

2. User Contributions:

   • Any content submitted by mentors or mentees during the program, such as feedback, resources, or shared knowledge, remains the intellectual property of the contributor.

   • By submitting content, contributors grant MentorSphere.Africa a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute such content for program-related purposes.

 

2. Permitted Use of Content

1. Mentorship Materials:

   • Participants are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use MentorSphere.Africa materials solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to the mentorship program.

   • Redistribution of materials to third parties without permission is prohibited.

2. Mentor and Mentee Contributions:

   • Mentors and mentees may share their original ideas, insights, and resources during mentorship sessions, but these contributions should not be used outside the program without explicit consent from the contributor.

 

3. Prohibited Activities

1. Unauthorized Use:

   • Participants are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or modifying platform content without prior written approval.

   • This includes uploading MentorSphere.Africa content to external websites or platforms.

2. Plagiarism:

   • Any unauthorised use of another participant's work or ideas without proper attribution will result in immediate action, including potential removal from the program.

 

4. Trademark Usage

• The MentorSphere.Africa name, logo, and associated branding elements are trademarks of MentorSphere.Africa.

• Use of these trademarks without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

 

5. Reporting Intellectual Property Violations

Participants can report any suspected intellectual property violations to:

MentorSphere.Africa will investigate all reports and take appropriate action, including removing infringing content or terminating program access for violators.

 

6. Changes to This Policy

MentorSphere.Africa reserves the right to update this Intellectual Property Policy as necessary. Participants will be notified of significant changes via email or platform announcements.
